Colorado 2-Man Golf

SKINS

  • Skins are given when one team has the outright low score from the entire field
    • Let’s say we are playing the easiest hole on the course and its a par 5 (HOLE HCP #18) and there are NO teams getting pops
    • Only one team in the full field eagled the hole and got a 3. Everyone else got a birdie or worse
    • Since the team had the outright low score, they would be given a skin
  • As soon as there is a tie for the low score, the hole is eliminated from the skins pot
  • The total skins pot is divided by the amount of skins (approx 4 to 6 skins per 2024 tournament)
  • Skins are based on NET scoring (font will be italicized in scoresheet if team wins with NET score)
  • If a team in the tournament is not in the skins game, their scores are not counted toward the skins game
    • A team not in the skins game with the outright score will not win a skin
      • shoulda, coulda, woulda
    • If a team not in the skins game is tied with a team in the skins game for the outright score, the team in the skins game would win a skin

  • Below scorecard shows example of both scenarios (GROSS SCORES ARE SHOWN)
    • Hole #4 won with a net score 3
    • Hole #9 won with a net score 2
      • Team won outright GROSS and were popping
    • Holes #11 & #12 won with a gross score of 3 on each
